Although, India is home many religious traditions, Hinduism is a major religion near around 80 percent of total population believes in Hinduism. The rituals and practices vary across states along with variation in language and culture. For example, people in Eastern part of India primarily worship Shakti (the Goddess). People in southern part primarily worship Lord Siva, where as people in Northern India Primarily worship Vishnu. Documenting diverse culture, rituals, practices, ethos and customs and how they relate to spirituality will be an important milestone in our spiritual journey.
