Cultivating Appreciation

Life is full of surprises. It’s always moving against the tide.  Problems are plenty yet you have to work through it. We know our emotion is the culprit. The benefits of cultivating positive emotions are many. Positive emotions make us creative, strengthen our immune system, and protect us from troubles that we face in our day-to-day life.  In times of challenge, it gives us the strength to face it squarely.

It starts with appreciating the world around us, everything and every being. Appreciating everything that happens is always good for you and it is a divine enactment. It is for the greater good of you and the people around you. Appreciation improves our acceptance of self and others.

You can nurture this quality by being mindful of the present, moment-to-moment awareness of the present while discounting the past and the future. As you practice it every day through your meditation; soon it becomes your habit and visible in your day-to-day activities and behaviors.
